The "Decision to Invade Iraq" timeline on the Center for Cooperative
Research's website http://www.cooperativeresearch.org [1] has been updated.
Several entries and categories have been added or updated that relate to
issues raised by the Downing Street Memo controversy. Categories that

We now have a chronology of events on the forced removal of Jose Bustani
from his position as head of the Organization for the Prohibition of
Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The OPCW removed Bustani under pressure from the
US arms control bureau, headed by John Bolton, in April 2002. It is widely
believed the US viewed Bustani as a threat to its ambitions in Iraq.
Over 100 new entries have been added to the 9/11 timeline. Many important
events are covered, bringing the timeline up-to-date to the present day.
Contributor Alex Goss has added a few new entries to the timeline on the
ousting of Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
Contributor Stefan Youngs has compiled a lengthy timeline on the United
States' confrontation with Iran. It touches on Iran's alleged nuclear
weapons program, the US' relationship with MEK, pipeline politics, US
rhetoric, the role of neoconservatives, and the geopolitical context in
which these events are taking place.
