Please emphasize the part in my account of Saturday where the rancher said he was afraid that, if he helped Cindy by letting her camp on his land, he would be declared a national security threat and his land would be seized under eminent domain. We are truly a nation held hostage!
Let me know how I can help you. I am going there again this weekend.
My LTE (I will write one every day)
My children learned accountability early in life. I allowed them to make age appropriate choices and allowed them to experience the consequences for their choices. What a shame for our country that Barbara did not teach those same lessons to her son, George.
I spent this weekend with Cindy Sheehan the mother of Casey who was killed in Sadr City in April 2004. Cindy has a few simple questions for our president about the choices he made that caused her son to go to war. So far, he has refused to meet with her or to answer those questions. He has now determined that Cindy and her companions are a threat to national security and they will be arrested on Thursday. Cindy and her companions are only mothers who are armed with Wet-wipes and juice-boxes. They pose no threat to anyone.
The President of the United States is our elected official and we pay his salary! He owes us some accountability!
