MoveOn: Fire Karl Rove Protest
You're invited to come speak out against Karl Rove's abuse of power and demand that President Bush fire Rove. Join other MoveOn members and members of the community at a peaceful protest and picket, Thursday July 14, at 2:30 PM on Pennsylvania Avenue outside The White House.
Rove betrayed the identity of an undercover CIA operative forcing her to end a decade of important national security work. He did it to protect the Bush political agenda. Now, the White House is covering up this betrayal of our national security. The media is ready to report on public outrage about Rove. Will you show up and speak out?
Please join us tomorrow and let Bush, the media and Congress know that Americans are angry about Rove.

Someone should dress up as Karl Rove and have him pointing at the spies yelling, "They're with the CIA! They're with the CIA!"
Pardon me for asking but isn't the divulgence of an undercover CIA operative's identity a threat to national security?
And isn't it, more particularly, ironic that the national security in question is that of an operative who's job it was to protect this country of ours from potential terrorist attacks?
And so the question becomes not whether Karl Rove should be reprimanded or, oh my goodness, fired but whether this action which compromised national security should be and will be accountable as treason against the American people.
To jeopardize nation security to protect the political agenda is not serving the people.
The idea that Rove operated without the consent or knowledge of his "boss" is another question which really pierces the heart of the issue.
How deep does the rabbit hole go?

Word of advice: I'm glad you're showing patriotic dissent, but the last guy who stood in front of the White House in a trenchcoat got tackled by the secret service. & he was supposedly just some dumbass tourist. Don't be surprised if it happens to you if you dress up like a "spy".
