VOA is just another propaganda media outlet.

With that said, however, it would not be surprising that a propaganda machine like voa decided to try to tell us what we already knew; that the US is the enemy. The NYT and other corporate media sometimes act in this manner, and many so-called alternative media also do. So-called alternative are often similar to and worse than some corporate media, "for crying out loud".

Any school child raised in an intelligent and caring family would know that the US is the enemy against the rest of the world. After all, such a family would be well-informed and would properly educate their children, to provide them with real and truthful education.

VOA is a piece of crap propaganda machine that seeks to profit how and when ever it can.

JUNK it. Even when it pretends to tell us what was known many years earlier as if we're being provided with education, JUNK the voa and many others. If people are too dumb to have common sense, then it's not deceitful media like voa that will provide this world with any real benefit.

VOA is a phony, false, hypocritical, ... name for any media! NO media is "voice of America", iow, "voice of all Americans". NONE! Only fools would be taken in by anyone or any group, business, ... pretending to be "Voice of America" or of any country; unless they [consistently] oppose injustices, double standards, and so on. That can and will not be found with any careful study of so-called VoA. And even if that was false, then VoA would still be a phony, conceited, ... title for anyone.

Americans and their hypocritical titles; N.E.D., National Endowment for Democracy (U.S. is enemy of democracy!); VoA, when no one speaks for so-called America; Defense Department (when the US has rather never really ever been about defense); anti-terrorism (when the US is the greatest terrorist in the world); and so on.

Give the world a break, for once. The world has had no break from American bs yet, and anytime is good to start.

This is extended sarcasm and criticism, and it's deserved in terms of VoA and many others, but not meant personally towards jimstaro. But people should wake up to the fact that VoA and many other so-called liberal media are NOT good. Many are neo-liberal evil and VoA really is a member of that category.

Pakistanis made us aware of their views plenty of years ago. Only idiots would think that Pakistanis changed their views when they have been provided with no reasons to change their views. And worse idiots would not be aware of the fact that Pakstanis (and may other peoples) have [not] been provided any real reasons to think that the US is good or better than their govts. And only fool Americans believe that foreigners who still think that the US is good are right, because those foreigners are down-right idiots or lunatics.

The US presently is the greatest evil on Earth; the US elites, corporate, political, military, CIA, ..., that is. Many citizens are against this evil, but we are very powerless against it; even if not [totally] powerless, if we could be united against this evil. Unfortunately, the needed unity is awfully difficult to achieve.

If the Pakistani govt does anything seriously wrong, deserving our or the world's attention, then "rest assured", the US [is] involved or more than involved. There are the occasional indepdentent thinkers and actors among the Pakistani ISI, f.e., but they're occasional. For the most part, the US is responsible for the way the Pakistani govt is. If Pakistanis have grievance against their govt, then it has roots in the US being very responsible.

And Pakistan is only one example. There are others.

It's a serious problem with so-called alternative media in the US; it keeps its readers and listeners as disinformed as informed, if not more dis- or mis-informed, than informed.

What has the US corporate and alternative news media been reporting about what's really going on in Iraq? Nothing or hardly anything to note. "Take a walk over to the wild side" and check out uruknet.info!

Iraq has become a non-topic in the US media, corporate and alternative, but not at uruknet.info, and that's a rather important resource website to pay attention to. I have been wondering why there's been hardly any mention at all about the situation in Iraq over the past many months and had stopped checking Uruknet for some months, but wandered back there this week and found plenty of important news about what's going on in that country; news we should all be aware of.

It's an example of how western news media is often bs and lazy.
