Instead of only the methane gas being a possible cause of a huge tsunami forming, we now have two possible ways or causes.

Are any Floridians beginning to consider moving in case the tsunami is triggered? I wonder.

The following article provides little text. It's mostly for graphic images, several for what the actual underwater topography is in the area surrounding the Deepwater Horizon. Imo, some of these images definitely help to make it understandable for non-scientific people why scientific people are saying the tsunami would be a major threat for Florida if the huge wave is trigger; as opposed to both Florida and Cuba, say.

"Where is the Oil Spill?
Largest environmental disaster in U.S., and possibly world history"

Do you know what the topography of the surrounding area is?

Hint: If you think it's flat seafloor - as implied by BPs drawings - you'd be wrong (the spill site is actually located within a giant canyon system, rather than on flat ground).

This essay will provide some basic orientation as to ground zero for the oil spill.

It's mostly images from Google Maps, Technip, Jim Gardner of the University of New Hampshire's Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping (CCOM), the U.S. Minerals Management Service, and the NOAA. The CCOM graphic image is the one for which a link to an article at wired.com is provided in the above article.
