On Saturday afternoon, June 12, 2010, Brian Becker spoke at an event in West Baltimore, sponsored by the Party for Socialism and Liberation. It was held at the “Peace and a Cup of Joe” coffee shop. Activist Crystal Kim introduced Mr. Becker. He is the National Coordinator of the ANSWER Coalition. His remarks initially focused on the Israelis’ lethal military assault, in international waters, on May 31, 2010, on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla. Then, Mr. Becker gave a broader, historical overview of the U.S./Israeli relationship, and its impact on Occupied Palestine, particularly Gaza. Gaza has been under an Israeli Blockade, since June, 2007. He spoke for about 50 minutes. This video contains only excerpts from Mr. Becker’s talk.
