Rep. Conyers Forms Out of Afghanistan Caucus to Oppose War and Escalation Funding

At least that's the message from his staff. It's not spelled out in the documents on Conyers' website (below), and no caucus of this sort has ever been used in a serious way before. Out of Iraq Caucus members have regularly funded the occupation of Iraq. But time will tell, and presumably this will at least nudge some congress members in the right direction. We can ask ours to join, but must keep our primary demand that of voting No on the funding.
