We Want NO Votes on Escalation Bill, and YES Votes on Separating Escalation Funding from All the Lipstick

By davidswanson - Posted on 14 May 2010

We want our representatives in the House to vote NO on war escalation funding, no matter what righteous stuff is packaged in with it.

But if there is a floor vote to separate the escalation funding from all the humanitarian measures, then we want Yes votes on that.

This is HOW "The Government" that "We the People" keep re-electing, pays back much of the debt that our elected officials owe to Corporate America.
The term, "this legislation has some good points" allows these sleze ball politicians an alibi to tell "We the People" they would have voted against the bill, if it weren't for the add-on that has nothing what-so-ever to do with more WAR FUNDING. And the so-called leadership, simply turns their heads, or actually supports those kind of tactics for their own personal gains.
And "We" only have one avenue to fight "The Government", and that's at the BALLOT BOX.
But first and foremost, "We the People" have to say and beleive that "The Government" [ALL elected officials, ALL of Them] are the problem with this country today. If they stay, ALL the TROUBLES stay.
