Worse than Watergate, The Mother of All Constitutional Crises

From Tomdispatch this morning, Judith Coburn's "Worse than Watergate, The Mother of All Constitutional Crises"

Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward's protection of a source has bookended the two great constitutional crises of the last half century, but (despite the parallels) how times have changed since Richard Nixon's impeachment in 1973. Judith Coburn, who covered the Vietnam War and the Watergate hearings as a young reporter, looks back on that moment and on ours, making unexpected parallels, and highlighting the differences -- in the media, the legal proceedings, and in our politics. Our "Watergate" moment is just rising to consciousness. Coburn catches it in a way that no one yet has.
