Haiti - Guns or Food?

The American military froze all relief effort as soon as they arrived at the Port-au-Prince Haiti airport and took over. After the third day of that freeze, it became clear to me that they probably were hopping and waiting for a revolt so at to justify their presence, and for them to do what they were trained to do: Attack, occupy, escalate. Those guys are not rescuers.

I suspect that they did NOT expect for law and order to hold on for that long under those chaotic conditions. The now week long (when will that end?)delay that they imposed before rescue by the international community can get on its way, is pointing a hell of an accusing finger in their directions.
