I am writing to THANK YOU! heartily for your message about toppling the unconstitutional and unfair bill you correctly termed an "insurance company bailout". I am now writing to thank you ever so much for addressing not only the health care crisis in this message, but also the unconstitutional requirement of the people to purchase *anything* as mandated by the government. BRAVO!!

Here is why I am encouraged by this crisis, and I wanted to share some hope and ideas here. I spoke yesterday (just before your message came, synchronicity eh?) with a friend who is from Romania and who described the way in which the Iron Curtain fell there. She said that when their then-president was buying gold faucets for his "palace" while turning off the centrally-controlled heat systems in peoples' homes to pay for it, and while it was 30 degrees inside their homes and infants died in hospitals, etc. while this sick man raked it all in at their expense ---- they decided en masse that it was just as unacceptable to live that way as it was to be (literally, as was the case) shot to death for speaking up. So they spoke up. En masse. And when the government realized that they could not control those masses, they gave up and flew the Prez out by helicopter. The dictatorship fell. BECAUSE of the unacceptable crisis, and especially, the manner in which the masses rallied together.

It is my hope that our own parallel healthcare crisis will result in such a fall from power!

That most of the nation is behind this single-payer healthcare system as asked for, is hope to me, especially in light of the crisis we are in, that the unified and nation-wide chant "A Government Of the Corporations, By the Corporations, and For the Corporations????" will result in the fall from power of the greedy corporations who are trying to run our country and hijack our politicians, against the will of the people and to the death of many victims of the health un-insurance guarantee to 70%+ of our nation.

Please note that (repeated message here, sorry but just a reminder) a friend from Hungary also told me that the Iron Curtain fell in Hungary "when the government relaxed its power over the economy". AND specifically, he said, that is when people got their free speech back, instead of being endangered for merely mentioning the word "government" in a public place such as a cafe. According to this Iron Curtain dictatorship survivor, economic control was key to oppression of the people.

I share this idea of signing petitions with and chanting "A Government of the Corporations, By the Corporations, and For the Corporations???", and asking membership to spread word, with the hopes that it is helpful and effective. Perhaps even bumperstickers would help to open up some eyes, and profit AfterDowningStreet at the same time. If you, based on your vast experience, deem this not helpful, then discard it by all means.

And THANK YOU once again for standing up for the civil liberties cause. I forwarded the message to more than 70% of my address book, asking people to sign the petitions protesting this "insurance company bailout" legislation with the query above.
