Stay warm this winter in a black hooded sweatshirt. Order one. Order them by the dozen and donate them to occupations!

Dear President Obama:
There is a good, clean way to back out of your disastrous commitment to escalate the war in Afghanistan.
Authorize a new, open, independent, and fully empowered investigation into 9/11. If this investigation is not meddled with by the usual political hacks and liars, you would be able to “discover” what many of us already know: 9/11 was planned, or at the very least facilitated, by powerful interests in the Bush Administration as an excuse to go after the oil in Iraq, a pipeline through Afghanistan, and control of Central Asia.
This would give you the opening to tell the American people you are pulling out of Afghanistan immediately because we have no legitimate purpose being there in the first place. You could follow up with a commitment to truly rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan, for a small fraction of the cost of the war, and turn your attention on the domestic agenda the American people elected you for.
We don't need this war. We don't want another “War President.” We're fed up with all the transparent and flagrant lies.
Sincerely,
David Chandler
