Websites 'need to pay for news' | BBC

Rupert Murdoch has said it is time for internet search engines and other websites to start to pay for any news reports they currently take for free.

Mr Murdoch, owner of media giant News Corporation, said such sites would soon have to pay for any content taken from his firm's many news providers.

He was speaking at the World Media Summit in Beijing, where his comments were backed by some of his competitors.

there is no way i would pay for gov sensered propaganda. what they call news nowdays is not news its plain old propaganda. if they did real news they would be talking about our showing up at the hague to get an understanding of the charges against the us for agression , genacide, torchure, they would be telling us about the brittish investagating there own, and they would be telling us about the provable things not fairy tails . so the moral of this story is why buy half truths, lies, and sycalogical operations on us to bend our thinking to mate their on agenda? these papers would be usefull if it was softer we always need toilet paper.
