Debating Warmongering with Bill O'Reilly

Tonight, Monday, Nov 14, Todd Chretien, organizer of the successful Proposition 1 campaign in San Francisco where voters declared their opposition to military recruiting in schools, debates Jeff Katz from Talk 910 KNEW AM radio in SF and Bill O'Reilly. It will air 8 pm and 11 pm EST (5 pm and 8 pm PST) on Fox News.

O'Reilly shocked the nation on November 8th when he reacted to the Proposition 1 vote:

"Fine. You want to be your own country? Go right ahead." O'Reilly went on: "And if al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it. We're going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead." - Bill O'Reilly on the Thursday, Nov 8 broadcast of The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly on Fox News. See more of O'Reilly's comments below.

Proposition 1

"On November 8th the citizens of San Francisco joined the growing counter recruitment movement. 59% of voters expressed the opinion that military recruiters should not be allowed in public schools." I am a Republican and I can see the problems in the party. Many Republicans realize that W is not the greatest president. But when I listen to what the left is saying I cringe. The real heart beat of the left is a hatred of this country. Many people voted for Kerry because they hated Bush but I bet many more voted for Bush because the alternative is ridiculous. The ideology of the left is so impractical that voting for it would be suicide for this country. Do you know what would happen if we pulled out of Iraq now? Our enemies would be empowered and Iraq would go down in flames and many more would die than are currently dying. You can bitch about how bad the war is going and say that Bush is a bad president all you want but when you offer an answer that is more ridiculous than what Bush is offering, no one will follow. That is why democrats are getting their buts kicked. The average American knows that although Bush may be an idiot, at least he is for us. It is not the republicans who are getting people to vote for them but the idiots on the left who get people to vote for the Republicans. Many that I know vote for things based on how many on the far left vote. If SanFrancisco or Berkley voters want it it must be bad for Americans and if they7 don't, it must be good many say.
That is the question I ask myself often, why isn't there a practical alternative to what Bush is saying?
