DEMOCRACY NOW!

* U.S. Broadcast Exclusive - "Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre" on the U.S. Use
of Napalm-Like White Phosphorus Bombs *

Democracy Now! airs an exclusive excerpt of "Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre,"
featuring interviews with U.S. soldiers, Iraqi doctors and international
journalists on the U.S. attack on Fallujah. Produced by Italian state
broadcaster RAI TV, the documentary charges U.S. warplanes illegally dropped
white phosphorous incendiary bombs on civilian populations, burning the skin
off Iraqi victims. One U.S. soldier charges this amounts to the U.S. using
chemical weapons against the Iraqi people.

* A Debate: Did the U.S. Military Attack Iraqi Civilians With White
Phosphorous Bombs in Violation of the Geneva Conventions? *

We speak with a former U.S. soldier who witnessed orders being given to drop
white phosphorous bombs over Fallujah; a Pentagon spokesperson in Baghdad
who admits such bombs were used but denied they were used as a chemical
weapon; and the news director of RAI TV, the Italian TV network that
produced ³Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre.²

* Covering Up Torture? At Pentagon's Request the Washington Post Refuses To
Report on Location Of Secret CIA Jails in Europe *

We speak with Peter Kornbluh of the National Security Archives on the
paper's decision to abide by a Pentagon request not to name which European
nations house these secret facilities. Kornbluh compares this decision to
the New York Times' refusal to report on details of the U.S. invasion of the
Bay of Pigs in Cuba in 1961.

Another study in fascist Machiavellian Tactics 101 - The US Department of Defense issued a statement 12Nov04 DENYING all charges of the use of ANY chemical weapons.

What do you expect from the same NEOCON Cabal whose grandfathers gave us "Reefer Madness" . .. THE TRUTH??? (Of course, back then they openly called themselves "fascists". It was all the rage among the rich frat brat "intellectuals" along with their "Eugenics Science.")

And to think, my sister's husband threw himself on a grenade in Vietnam to save his platoon while in service of these fascists. We got a really pretty medal, a certificate rubber stamped by Tricky Dick Nixon himself, a flag, and a lifetime of bureaucratic frustration getting nickels and dimes from the government.

Of course, the napalmed kidz in Vietnam and the napalmed kidz in Iraq just got a "Better Living Through Chemistry" fiery hell death. I wonder how long it will be before the Sufi mystics start lighting themselves on fire to protest the way the Buddhist monks did during Vietnam.

"And old King George
Sent Mother a note
When he heard that father was gone.
It was, I recall,
In the form of a scroll,
With gold leaf and all.
And I found it one day
In a drawer of old photographs, hidden away.
And my eyes still grow damp to remember
His Majesty signed
With his own rubber stamp."

peace.

This is an interesting issue, in the sense that the whole sctick to sell this goddamned war to us was; "Saddam has and uses weapons of mass destruction on his people" and "we have to rid the world of WMD", and then, just like the neocons were talking out the other side of their collective faces, they hose down folks with helicopters firing DU cannon slugs at them, at night, without having the foggiest notion of their 'guilt' as suspected insurgents...and then we burn down Fallujah with WP (whiskey pete) and some new kind of napalm, and suddenly; "oh, that's okay..it's not really genocide or muder if we do it" is the story line. When are american's going to wake up to the fact that the Iraqi people aren't stupid, they saw the Apache's blow those guys to smithereens from half a mile a way at night, even killing non-resisting, wounded people and 'chortling' about it over the radio. They saw what we did to Fallujah. They know damned good and well who did that. It wasn't Saddam who was murdering Iraqi's by the dozens and calling it collateral damage. It wasn't Saddam who was dropping smart bombs on homes full of women and children and just dismissing it as "collateral damage" as Rumsfeld's boys do. Doesn't anyone get the connection that you can't be on ANY MORAL HIGH GROUND higher than an ant's dick, when you conduct yourself like this, torture people in ways that even saddam would have probably envied, and act like you are a 'just' and 'benevolent' liberator when all you do all day long is take innocent Iraqi's to their deaths to the tune of tens of thousands of them. When Saddam did it, it was 'genocide' but when the U.S. Army or U.S. Marine Corps or our Air Force does it, it's just 'liberation' then. We can't win a war in a country we have literally destroyed from the inside out, and all this talk by the Bush
administration about helping Iraqi's is pure bullshit and lies. It's about time that people got a handle on how you cannot torture, blow up, murder folks, and be liberating them at the same time. You just can't. It's not liberation, it's some sick, twisted, very arcane form of death dealing I've seen in my entire adult life. I cannot believe my fellow American's are willing to sign off on three more years of this murder. We did the same shit in Vietnam and we lost. Get it! We los
