No U.S. Coverage of Iraq Vote Fraud

By Tom Hayden

It is urgent that civil society barrage the mainstream media about lack of coverage of legitimate questioning of the Iraqi election results. For instance, the New York Times on October 25 mentioned the fraud claims in the nineteenth paragragh on page nine, and only to suggest a lack of evidence.

It makes no sense. If both parties in this country lie, cheat and cut corners, how could an Iraqi election be fair and open? That’s a gut feeling, of course, but the circumstantial evidence is plain.

The constitution was rejected in the Sunni majority provinces of Anbar and Salahaddin. The third, Nineveh, “is the focus of fraud allegations

"We want democracy in Lebanon to succeed. And we know it cannot succeed so long as she is occupied by a foreign power." -- George W Bush.

I guess that doesn't apply to other countries, however, where the natives reside atop petroleum reserves claimed by the foreign occupiers.

I just blows the mind !!!!!!!!!
........the double standard and hypocrisy .

I really don't understand how this can be accepted. On Washington Week, this past Friday, one of the reports who was on the show having returned from Iraq said she and her crew saw at least 1 person emerging with 7 marked ballots. On this site, another poster had the specific names of this journalist--whose name I cannot remember at this time. I don't understand how the outcome of this election can be taken as credible---I really don't understand.

It is sad enough to acknowledge voting fraud in our own country ,and fight to stop it, but , to force this CRAP on another country(that we illegally invaded),in behalf of you and me, is more than I'm willing to tollerate !!! This government has to be STOPPED !!!!! JERRY L. DAVIS
