What If?
What if we wake up one day and realize that the terrorist threat is a predictable consequence of our meddling in the affairs of others?
What if propping up repressive regimes in the Middle East endangers both the United States and Israel?
What if occupying countries like Iraq and Afghanistan – and bombing Pakistan – is directly related to the hatred directed toward us and has nothing to do with being free and prosperous?
What if someday it dawns on us that losing over 5,000 American military personnel in the Middle East since 9/11 is not a fair trade-off for the loss of nearly 3,000 American citizens, no matter20how many Iraqi, Pakistani, and Afghan people are killed or displaced?
What if we finally decide that torture, even if called “enhanced interrogation techniques,” is self-destructive and produces no useful information – and that contracting it out to a third world nation is just as evil?
What if it is finally realized that war and military spending is always destructive to the economy?
What if all wartime spending is paid for through the deceitful and evil process of inflating and borrowing?
What if we finally see that wartime conditions always undermine personal liberty?
What if conservatives, who preach small government, wake up and realize that our interventionist foreign policy provides the greatest incentive to expand the government?
What if conservatives understood once again that their only logical position is to reject military intervention and managing an empire throughout the world?
What if the American people woke up and understood that the official reasons for going to war are almost always based on lies and promoted by war propaganda in order to serve special interests?
What if we as a nation came to realize that the quest for empire eventually destroys all great nations?
What if Obama has no intention of leaving Iraq?
What if a military draft is being planned for the wars that will spread if our foreign policy is not changed?
What if the American people learn the truth: that our foreign policy has nothing to do with national security and that it never changes from one administration to the next?
What if war and preparation for war is a racket serving the special interests?
What if President Obama is completely wrong about Afghanistan and it turns out worse than Iraq and Vietnam put together?
What if Christianity actually teaches peace and not preventive wars of aggression?
What if diplomacy is found to be superior to bombs and bribes in protecting America?
What happens if my concerns are completely unfounded – nothing!
What happens if my concerns are justified and ignored – nothing good!

What if our useless news media wasn't run by and owned by the same people who make all the money off all the other what ifs. THEN the American people would learn the truth. Watch Fox news, watch CNN, watch NBC, watch CBS and learn NOTHING!

And one I will admire, regardless how many people call him a "kook". They deride him because they're deeply scared of his message. Sanity. Before I knew of Dr. Paul, with me being a hard core Liberal, and you told me I'd ever admire a Repubican, I'd have laughed in your face. I've witnessed many Presidential campaigns all the way back to JFK, but I NEVER seen such a concerted effort to blacklist and smear a man in my entire life as they did Representative Ron Paul... I knew I loved him right then and there! What a world, if Government was comprised of nothing but Ron Paul's and Dennis Kucinich's! It would be a different world, by far.
What if "Mr Constitution", aka Ron Paul, had taken a stand and demanded impeachment of the most criminal president and vice president in US history?
What if "Mr Constitution" would take a public stand and demand indictment and prosecution of the torturer in chief and all his accomplices?
What if Dennis Kucinich had not waited to the end of the Bush administration to file articles of impeachment?
What if Dennis Kucinich had put in as much time and effort trying to impeach Bush as he did running for president?
I am so sick of these god damn politicians, every last one of them. My definition of a politician is a liar and a coward; I do not know any politician who does not fit that definition!
what if we sent letters to international war crimes court and ask them to help us again, tell them why we cant go forward maybe if they show they are interested in this that might get the judiciary off there ass. these people of the bush administation are plain and simple murderers when they took the nazis they didnt spank them, they hung them, they need to help us to get the nazi attitude out of our gov. there is no more need of investigation there is need of prossacution to purg this evil from our gov. once and for all. we the people are stonwalled by our own gov. as they protect these crimminals. the icc want us to take care of this ourselves , we need to let them know about the fema and home land securetys plan for martial and death camps maybe they will understand why we need their help. ask them to help us take america back out of the industrial war complex fashisam mind set of our gov.
We just gotta have the same resolve going after the NeoCONS.
