I contacted the office and spoke with a very nice lady, Pauline. She informed me that their office was only mandated to investigate war criminals from other countries. She did appreciate the irony of the situation.

spoke with a very nice woman named Julie who said she appreciated my request, thought it was important, but also explained that they only work with/on foreign states (as their mandate). She urged me to contact my federal reps (which I've done).
