Thank you Ms McCaskill for a great example of Democratic Party political grandstanding. If our senator from the great state of Missouri was truly concerned about taxpayer funds and her constituent's interests, she would call for the nationalization of all banks receiving our federal funds. Anything short of this, is just political theater to placate those of us who are somewhat paying attention.

Nationalize the banks that have their hands out for our money. Fire their management and Ms McKaskill and her fellow lawmakers can pick their replacements. It won't be hard to find someone who can do a better job.

Will call my Sens on Monday.

Will it have any clout, though, with the bought and paid for Senators? This IS a long time coming. The greed factor MUST be tamped down if we are going to survive and not become the peons to the super-wealthy. I would also add that a new, FAIR tax system is ALSO a long time coming.

Capitalism is a system that does nothing more than let the "Greed Genie" out of the bottle and perpetuate the slavery of working citizens. In a sane world of awakened people, when the news came out about the bailed-out billionaires handing out bonuses like after dinner mints, there should have been people with torches and pitchforks running the streets screaming at the tops of their lungs. BUT...we are no longer an AWAKE people.

REAL "CHANGE"? http://www.dsausa.org/about/index.html

Magnificently articulated with emotion, effectiveness and tact. Let's get this plan to the floor. And let's get the public's push to get it through. The need for this is now a no-brainer since the moneychangers act like crime is legal. How many more instances of robbing the public blind do we need?

But I think it should take a big step further into corporate America, to reach every executive of every company laying off workers right now:
