I think this graph even more dramatically makes the point that the public is finally figuring out Iraq is not a cakewalk:

Ben in DC

Q: How many Bush Administration officials does it take to screw in a light bulb?

A: None. There is nothing wrong with the light bulb; its conditions are improving every day. Any reports of its lack of incandescence are a delusional spin from the liberal media. That light bulb has served honorably, and anything you say undermines the lighting effect. Why do you hate freedom?

The graph of this data looked odd to the eye. Either the data set was copied by hand with some typos, or there is some plotting error.

I quickly redid it correctly in Excel using a fresh copy of the original data set. Want the sheet with graph? I'll happily send it along...

Sure, send it to PublicMailbox at benslade dot com

Have our senators and representatives seen this poll? Did they even see the crowds who marched in Washington? Have they forgotten that they are supposed to be representing the people who elected them? I look forward to having a whole new Congress, elected member by member, within a few years. Senator Feingold and the Progressive Democrats can remain.
