Bush jokes about "biggest polluter" status at G8 summit
From the Telegraph
The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."
He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.
Mr Bush, whose second and final term as President ends at the end of the year, then left the meeting at the Windsor Hotel in Hokkaido where the leaders of the world's richest nations had been discussing new targets to cut carbon emissions.
One official who witnessed the extraordinary scene said afterwards: "Everyone was very surprised that he was making a joke about America's record on pollution."

Stay warm this winter in a black hooded sweatshirt. Order one. Order them by the dozen and donate them to occupations!

Check out the world stats on Autism, and you will see it mostly it in highly industrialized nations with high instances of pollution, or high usages of mercury/dioxins/other contaminants, and where war has plagued even third world nations. Also note that Iran and Iraq have among the highest instances of autism in the MidEast Region ( where there is a LOT of depleted uranium and other residual war contaminants due to Iran-Iraq War, and Persian Gulf War and current Iraq War).

That Bush thinks that pollution is a "joke" may come back to haunt him, now that his first child has married. He had better tell his newly-nuptialed daughter to NOT eat fish in America if she is pregnant. Pollution is no joking matter, and affects the unborn for the duration of their entire lifespan, even W's potential grandchildren.

IMPEACH BUSHCO & RICO PNAC/AIPAC>"OUT" ANTI-AMERICAN CABALS!
WE MUST DEFEAT MCCAIN!!! http://www.cafepress.com/bootthepnac
...is still in office and walking about on all fours. Amazing! What a commentary on the mentality of the American people and the politicians elected to Congress. We are disgraced....
Blah, blah, blah....
Bush goes and resumes off-shore oil drilling in the United States!
the arrogance and ignorance of this illegal resident is astounding!
Impeach, Indict, Convict, Repeat!
PNAC Neocons are criminals, hold them accountable for their treason and war crimes.
He should meet the same fate (broadcast world wide).
the president to his own credit is speaking in protectionist terms in regards to protecting US national productivity
i ask that everyone remember that in the 60's - 80's only nature lovers publicaly endorsed policy to create a healthier and more stable air and water regulations. And it was in regards only within our own national borders
if we now have ALL of these politicians scrambling on board regarding international natural conservatism then kindly be suspicious and a bit more cynical about the entire prospects
this is a very clever workaround to undermine GDP, productivity thru out the entire 50 states and other countries as well
Carbon Credits are balderdash - it is a local level kickback money scheme with the promise of FAT checks for all - and independent sovereignty denied to entire nations being the return
The President is but stating his independence to EU and or World dictates
talk about the boy who cried wolf - indeed
That Bush/Cheney team, such a barrel of laughs. I think John McCain is just as funny. We should keep them around just for giggles. Maybe they could tell some jokes about the dumb Georgian who went to Iraq to help the USA... Then there's the one about the little Iraqi boy with one arm and one leg... how 'bout the one about the polar bear ...and the one about the little old lady who couldn't afford to heat her house...and the Katrina victim waiting days for water...He's got a million of 'em!
Did the United Snakes media black this out too?
I don't know why, since it has great entertainment value (in the cesspool).
We must produce new doors to the people's perceptions, unfortunately many still rely on print and television.
