GIULIANI in Austin, TX: Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani -- hailed as

the United Way Capital Area. Wachovia Bank is the "presenting sponsor"
of the dinner event at the Hyatt Regency Austin. Giuliani will address

Newt Gingrich will be one of three featured speakers at a forum hosted
next month by state Rep. Richard Chalk, R-Hilton Head. The forum,
scheduled to run from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Westin
Resort Hotel in Sun City, will explore and debate the state of the

ROMNEY in Davenport, IA: MA Gov. Mitt Romney will appear in Davenport
IA, at a Scott County GOP fundraiser. He was in the state during July
and also spent last year sprinkling cash donations among several Iowa
political candidates, and not just the customary donations to
congressional candidates. He also helped out at the local level, which
is what earned him an invitation to the Scott County fund-raiser.
Romney's Commonwealth PAC gave the county party $1,000 last year. The
fund-raiser will be at 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 29 at Club Mo-kan, 4227
