You are herecontent / Prosecuting George W. Bush for Murder
This is the guy who wrote a foot-thick tome on John Kennedy's assassination, saying there was no conspiracy.
Mr. Bugliosi, everyone who haunts this website has known for years that George Bush should HAVE ALREADY BEEN tried for murder -- and hung by his neck on the 50 yard line at this year's Super Bowl game. The fact that you have been AWOL from this movement until now, tells me, well, it's time to sell another book. That said, good luck in your book sales. Frankly, those of us toiling on the matter need ALL the help we can get!
Suggestion: Devote your next book writing effort to the complicity of Congressional Democrats in saving Bush's ass. Question: Will Obama commute Bush if he is tried?
I sure hope that before ripping Bugliosi that you actually read his new book. I did and I'm doing my best to promote the book to as many people as possible - if enough Americans actually pick up "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" there might actually be a populist uprising demanding real action from U.S. Attorneys and Congress. Or you could just continue to be cynical and critical. Damn right we need all the help we can get, so why not support Bugliosi's efforts and start promoting the book to your local newspapers, throughout the blogosphere, etc. I know that I did and I'll be submitting my article shortly to Mr. Swanson for consideration. Criticize the real criminals rather than those Americans who are working to bring this tragedy to public light and resolution.
Please sign this petition if you would like to see Bush be held accountable for all of his crimes, including murder.

What is wrong with you people. If you want to prosecute Bush, why not prosecute Hilary Clinton or the numerous others in congress who voted for the war. Just because things have gone wrong, does not mean we should not have gone in the first place based on our knowledge at the time. Don't forget, we were attacked, should we just lie down and let it happen again.
Hopefully you're not the next american to be killed on our own soil.
That's what it's all about.
Bush knew, absolutely, there were no weapons of mass destruction & he knew Saddam/Iraq posed NO THREAT to the United States. Bush wanted a war & even suggested flying a US jet painted to resemble a UN jet hoping Saddam would order it attacked to justify a war.
On a personal level, I'm positive he & his cronies are ALL invested, heavily, into munitions & defense contractors.
This is a conflict of interest & an impeachable offense. His continuous disdain for our Constitution violates his oath & affirmation to "preserve, protect & defend" it. And the (un)Patriot act is an unConstitutional crime in it's own right.
First impeach then prosecute for the sake of precident. This will let future Presidential Candidates know they aren't campaigning for a free ride & the United States is NOT a Kingdom.
God Bless America. Send the entire Bush Administration to Leavenworth & let THEM discuss Habeus Corpus.
Nor is warrantless wiretapping, holding people (Americans) without any rights indefinitely, nor exposing a CIA intelligence agent, nor is torture. Lying about weapons of mass destruction.
The thing that makes the US different from a lot of countries, is that we do have civil liberties that we take for granted. We also have laws that should apply equally to everyone. Yes, we were attacked, but we did the wrong thing. And then used that attack to ignore all of the laws on the books. Sorry, that just ain't gonna fly. But it was for a good cause.
If I had done any of this stuff, I'm sure I'd be either a) sitting in fron of a firing squad or b)sitting in jail for the rest of my life. You are framing the argument, holding people accountable does not mean doing nothing. It means that you can't just do whatever you feel like it. If some guy punched me, does that give me the right to punch or kill anyone else that I happen to see? Our knowledge at the time was the Saddam had no WMDs.
