New Hampshire Democratic Party Backs Impeachment

NH Rep. Betty Hall's resolution to impeach Bush and Cheney passed at the NH Democratic Convention today by a Division floor vote of 110 to 88. This should carry quite a bit of weight when she brings HR24 (the Petition to impeach) back to the NH Legislature for discussion (HR24 was tabled April 16 and despite coverage at the time, tabling does not mean it is dead. A simple majority, not a 2/3 vote, can bring it back). Furthermore, The Newbury Resolution demanding accountability, reconciliation and to indict Bush and Cheney passed unanimously. By passing both resolutions, the NH Democratic party is asking for investigations to begin immediately.
