It is past time the Party Leaders stepped in and told Hillary to fold. IT'S OVER, OVER, OVER, OVER, NO MATTER HOW MUCH SHE AND BILL WANTED IT, IT'S OVER.
Clinton's continued candidacy is a sad commentary on the current state of American politics.
She may yet win the nomination democratically. But it is clearly unlikely.
What troubles me is that whomever the Democrats present as their candidate can count on the "anti-war" vote in their back pocket.
And thus can ignore the mandate behind that sentiment.
It's disheartening that even some of the luminaries of the Libertarian movement have jumped on the Obamamania train.

The only viable alternative to the War Party's Dem/Rep scam is a third party candidate.
It worked for the Republicans when 3rd party candidate Abraham Lincoln ascended to the White House.
No, it doesn't figure to work for us under the current system, skewed against third parties.
But if all of us who oppose the current foreign policy of agressive militaristic imperialism could get behind a leader who would put aside other issues and focus on our relations with the rest of the world, we may not achieve what Lincoln and his supporters achieved.
But we would accomplish a lot more than what one fellow anti-war protester once told me:
"I'm against the war, so I voted for (John) Kerry."

Happy Daylight Savings Time,
i'm kinda ok with this battle of Titans if you will. She's clearly not going to get the nominination; i detest the DLC sooooooooooo much that i'm enjoying watching the DLC dragon bleed to death. Now i don't have any contempt for Hillary i just have a deep and general contempt for the DLC dragon male or female ... watching Carville, Rahm, McAuliffe be vaporized is pure exstacy.
I'm enjoying watching the 'thing' die. And let the Blue-Dogs disappear with them. I hope it lasts for at least a few more states. i like seeing the humiliation of this contemptable DLC breed. It's hard to be a good liberal when the house is full of DLC trash. And i see us as the Trash Compactor crushing corporate hegemony...someday.

Hillary is just another one of the shameless Clintons. She does not care if she wins fair and square or if she has to steal the election. She wants to be our first woman president.
I'm sorry but I do not believe that McCain can win. He has loser written all over him. Hillary plans to win or steal this election.

P.S. I am not really sorry that McCain can't win. That is good news.
