We need a transcript of the 6/16/05 John Conyers forum. There was an enormous about of well formed argument and documented facts presented, literally none of which was reported.
We would like to submit a selection of the powerful quotes and subjects discussed to media outlets to show the extent of the media coverup of these proceedings. These quotes and subject matters can then be available as talking points and as an example of a Congress that is attentive to violations of the constitution, while the rest of the congress and major media bury these procedings.
It also answers the question "what is new in the Downings St. memo" - a theme that is used to bury coverage of these events.
As I recommend on my Dailykos Diary, every person who has been personally touched by the lie of this war needs to stand up and make sure that they are counted.
They need to contact their local press with their discontent, they need to get politically active and address the unaccountabiilty of this congress and President, and for the few who are able and willing - they need to take this Administration to Court and ensure that Justice is served.

I have noticed that speakers and even newspaper reporters are referring to the term "fixed" which was used in one of the Downing St. memos as meaning "altered in a devious way". It seems quite clear to me, having lived in England, that this means "situated around". It undermines the argument somewhat to emphasise the term in a way used in our American lexicon.

I hope it's because you've been swamped by e-mailers to your site, after seeing The Democratic Committee Meetings on C-span.

One way to spread out the opinion of bringing the impeachment of Bush is to spread out the opinions on this through blogging and emails.
Let's spread this movement through our peace-loving people by using the intnernet, especially thru the use of blogging. Let's create a number of blogging sites and spread out this message that will protest the injustice performed by the Bush administration and the Neocon people.
