Wee Georgie wants to know.

At least Georgie can be assured that this crowd is a considerably larger than the one his "imbedded press" photgraphed in Iraq pulling down Saddam's statue. :)

Every American could be there and it doesn't matter. Standing outside in the yard, they have no authority, force, power to do anything. He is NOT answerable to anyone; our Attorney General says he's (GWB) above the law. Until people quit voting for the mainstream politicians (Reb or Dem) there will be no, no change in this country. It is time to think about voting for the independent party and doing so on an absentee ballot so your vote counts for who you want it to.

It's heartening to see our wonderful real patriots rallying for peace. We need a revolution, we must erase the Nazi's from america and silence them for good.

Americans, gather together and unite. Please reconcile any differences and consider the implications of WMD being used against terrorists on American soil:

Iraq doesn't have Weapons of Mass Destruction—the US has them—remember Hiroshima? Since the US National Defense System has to be light years away from the atomic bomb by now, does the US have new weaponry that creates catastrophic events? Has the US used Telegeodynamic weapons to pulverize tall towers and weaken levees, or have they used Weather Warfare to create hurricanes intended to flood and destroy oil rigs and refineries? Or is it just coincidence that the latest Hurricane (Rita) hit land on the DAY OF the biggest peace march (9/24/05) in D.C. and both hurricanes were direct hits on America's oil rigs and refineries? Why is it that any large event that's not part of the US agenda gets lost in the shuffle by the media covering yet another catastrophic event?

We need to know about the Weather Warfare weapons that the US has kept hidden from the public for decades. Is Weather Warfare being used today from Schauberger, whose inventions were confiscated by the US government in 1958? Inventions that were intended to change polluted waters into clean spring water, not make manmade catastrophes. (He designed miniature hurricane equipment that purifies water.) In view of the coincidences in "natural disasters" in the written record, is the US MISusing Schauberger's ideas as Weather Warfare for defense purposes?

What kind of Weapon of Mass Destruction incinerated Flight 93 and left a crater in Shanksville, PA? A 50 foot deep crater that was filled in, after it burned for a month from the crash of Flight 93 on 9/11. Why is that site still being guarded 24/7 by security personnel? What horrific WMD pulverized the Twin Towers on that fateful day? Was it Telegeodynamics, the invention of Tesla that the US confiscated in 1943, that turned the Towers to dust? (Everyone knows jet fuel and airplanes do not pulverize concrete and melt steel.) Is it pure coincidence that the latest two hurricanes were direct hits on the oil refineries or was it strategically orchestrated as "an act of Mother Nature" so that the US could justify its war for oil in Iraq?

man, i wish i could have been there with my extended family of american brothers and sisters and citizens of the world that are the true believers in the american dream of liberty, freedom, individual rights, democracy. instead, i'm stuck here in a red state learning Constitutional Law. one day soon... i will be there every time.

the pictures are great!! it's good for those of us who couldn't make it to kinda be there in a way.

Thank you for your coverage of this event... But were there any conservatives, Republicans, or libertarians including in today's activities?

This is my blog entry from January 18, 2003, which was a day of protesting against the Iraq war. I hope that things have changed since then, with respect to the composition of these antiwar events and activities... but I fear that they may have not.

Remember the "America Supports You Freedom March"? What a joke that was. This is such sweet revenge.

There has been NO mention in the press of the masssive turn out today, NONE. Thank God for the internet. Do spread the message anywhere and eveywhere.

Get out of my country you worthless fucks!

This great country, obviously and thankfully, isn't yours.

Remember Hitler's "Brown Shirts"? Your one of them.

Get out of Our country you Nazi!

This great country, obviously and thankfully, isn't yours.

The first duty of a patriot is to question their government. - Thomas Jefferson

bush should send his kids first before any others

The definition of 'traitor' is: One who betrays anothers trust or is false to an obligation or duty.

I believe it is our obligation and our duty to stand up against the illegal occupation and to work to bring our children home.

If anyone can be named a traitor it would be those in the administration or legislature that swore an oath to uphold the constitution. If we have betrayed their trust than we are only traitors to their New American Century concepts and their false christianity.

We are American Patriots and don't forget it. I suggest if this is truely "your country" than you would understand democracy and freedom of speech and expression. You would possibly, being the 'owner of the USA' be in the front lines in Iraq or encourage all in your family to be their after all it is your country.

I will be awaiting my eviction notice from you.

Sincerely,

A tenant in common, a veteran and an American

This great country, obviously and thankfully, isn't yours! It IS, obviously and thankfully, ours, which means we get to believe and say and protest illegal and immoral activities by government officials! Nani-nani boo-boo, you sissy!!!!

I feel sorry for you. There is room for everyone in this country, even those of us who are patriotic enough to stand up against elected officials who are dragging down this country. You are blinded by your own patriotism and willingness to support without asking any questions. You believe blindly and do not follow in the foot steps of our founding fathers. Wake up, before all of what we love about this country is lost.

Today in DC shows the world Amerika is NOT united!!!!

EVERYBODY!! Everybody get working now toward 2006 and 2008. we need to throw the baby out with the bathwater this time, i.e., vote straight democrat no matter what, no matter what. caution and mealymouth "yeah buts" will not work. our nation is in such trouble. do you and I deserve some of the blame for the ascendance of these jingoist, elitist, corporate butt kissers? don't know, but you and I must get working hard in whatever way we can. our policies nationally and internationally have been and are now shameful, and the whole world knows it. time for a regime change of massive proportions.!!

neoliberals are in bed with the neocons

VOTE FOR ONLY THE SPECIFIC PRO-PEACE CANDIDATES>>> NO MATTER WHAT

And I'm stuck with Joe Lieberman........and Dodd..........
But if we had the majority for a change in Congress & the Senate, at least the Democratic voice WILL BE HEARD for a change

Magi

Do you really believe that voting makes any difference? We haven´t had honest elections since Georgie was appointed by the Supreme Court. Visit www.blackboxvoting.org for the truth about your vote.

You stupid shit- I did my 20 what the hell have you done besides freeload and bitch? It's more my country than yours you stupid shit.

I proudly served my country as an army officer for 23 years, including two tours in Vietnam which left me with a disability. I revere our constitution, which grants us freedom of speech, even if it means I have to listen to the likes of you, who appear to be not only inarticulate, but also ignorant of what it means to live in a democracy.

Unlike Bush and the Republicans, I am a liberal Democrat whose party truly supports our troops. We would never send them to war unless there was no alternative, nor would we lie to them as Bush did about the presence of WMD in Iraq. We would never send them to war without a plan on how to win the peace after the fighting ended. We would make sure there were sufficient numbers of US and allied troops in a US led coalition to secure the peace and facilitate the establishment of a democracy as quickly as possible.

We Democrats would make sure that our defense budget provided our troops with equipment that minimized their casualties rather than left them vulnerable to serious injuries from IEDs. And when they were wounded we would guarantee them the best care and rehabilitation available and pensions and followup care at no cost to them. We would not recommend cutting the VA budget and instituting medical co-payments for our men and women who returned home with grevious wounds, as the Bush Administration attempted to do earlier this year.

And when our heroes were killed in battle, we would honor them when their remains were returned to the United States, rather than hiding their caskets from view. Finally, we would provide better benefits for their widows and children.

I hope this gives you an idea about what it really means to support our troops and our constitution and why we need a plan to withdraw our troops from Iraq as soon as is feasible, rather than simply repeating the meaningless phrase "We will stay the course."

Thanks for your 20 years service. Sorry you are unable to show respect for those who disagree with you and who differ with you on what it truly means to support our troops.

Peaceloving Warrior

Just had to comment on your beautiful and honest post. Very well stated. From one Peace Lover to another-Thank you!
Colleen

You get out of my country. You mindless zombies are the traitors to the troops, to decency, to America, and to the very principle on which this country was founded. A democracy depends on intelligent and informed citizens who are able to recognize the truth and to think. You are clearlly ignorant and narrow minded and unequipped to live in or appreciate a democracy. I think you should get out of our country.

The country belongs to ALL of us, even the one's who have sacrificed their sons and daughters for an illegal war mislead by lying leaders...

If all Americans who were ignorant of practically everything - politics, religion, science, philosophy and the like, were compelled to leave, how many would be left? And how many would share your views, one wonders?

Have another sip of Koolaid, you must be thirsty from all that hate.

No. YOU get out of MY country, you clueless turd!

No. YOU get out of MY country, you clueless turd!

dumb Right - Wing fuck that you are...

Get off of your computer and go fight in Iraq then...You are so patriotic...sitting back while other peoples' sons and daughters die in an illegal war...

If you wanna go conquer other sovereign nations, you're on your own.

True Americans who are Constitutional don't do that.

See, this is the problem with your type. You think you own everything. You think you control everything. And when you start to lose control...you freak. The people's voice is growing loud. We are not traitors. We are patriots.

Yo! You go fuck yourself!!!

When so much is under the control of the federal government, everyone wants to be the one that has his way in everything.

oh, how mature of you. Your country? I bet you are a white male which means the USA originally wasn't "yours" to begin with so settle down. Hate can only breed more hate.

It was amazing. I've been to dozens of DC events (4th of July, concerts on the mall, etc) and I haven't seen anything like this in 33 years. It was wall-to-wall people opposed to the war and particularly to the the administration. There must have been hundreds of thousands of people, all of them decrying the war that was dishonest, illegal, immoral, unconstitutional, unnecessary, poorly planned, even more poorly executed, and never once honestly justified. I bet you couldn't have found a half a dozen people there who didn't think Bush should be impeached. Most, I suspect wouldn't mind seeing him jailed (along with all the others of his cronies who lied to Congress and the people and/or are profiteering from the war.) The chant I heard most? "Tell me what democracy looks like -- THIS is what democracy looks like!"

Go Fitzgerald!!! Let's indict them all!!!!!!!!!

There was hardly any mention of the antiwar march in the government meida. This goes to show how entrenched the Bus dictatorshiip has become.
I think it's time to start a new poliltical party that has a single theme only: Bring the Troops Home Now! Maybe then we can start weeding out some of the Nazis who have taken over our country. We can't leave the democratic or republican war parties in control any longer!

LBJ for Vietnam War

Kerry, Hillary and Kennedy voted for Iraq War

3rd Party--Yes, let's do it!

If we do make a 3rd party we will insure the republicans stay in power. Dosn't anyone remember Nader in the 2000 election?????????

I believe Kennedy voted against the war resolution

I know for a fact Robert Byrd voted against it

George is so dumb, but he sure has messed up the country. He gets his dumbness from his mother.

I'm sure its feels good to call Bush dumb and all, but perhaps you can explain why its taken almost five years for the American people to figure out that Bush is unfit to be President? There seems to to be no shortage of stupidity in today's America.

ever since 9/11, the American people have been manipulated by PNAC

Like the bumper sticker says:

Election 2004
"Never underestimate the power of stupid people
in large groups"
