You are herecontent / A Renewed America and Impeachment: Kucinich

More below the fold.
WOW! .... and THIS, my friends, is a prime example of why the corporate media et al do NOT want the people of the U.S.A. to hear or see Dennis Kucinich! They are afraid of this "little mouse that roared." Very afraid.
When oh, when will you leave the corrupt Democratic Party, that has done nothing but sabotage your campaign? WHEN?
Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.~John Adams
Go Kucinich '08! kucinich.us
I have recently come to believe that you and others calling for him to "bail" are right. Keep in mind that the decision to bar him from this "debate" was the call of "Corporate" Chuck Todd and not--as far as we know--the Democrapp Party; although, I wouldn't rule that out.
I hope Elizabeth grabs him by the shoulders and shakes the shit out of him--and SOON while there's still time AND WHILE HE CAN STILL BRING IN THE INDEPENDENTS.
I cannot believe that I went to the jungle for this country; I cannot believe I USED TO pay taxes to support the buffoonery; I can NOT believe I USED TO TRUST OUR GOVERNMENT!!!
the Democratic Party has systematically refused to admit to or promote his popularity. Even with their OWN polls with their OWN members - he wins, and they hide the results. Senator Harry Reid himself stated in a public interview that Kucinich should go back to his district...
I and a couple others from the campaign are traveling to our State Democratic Party committee later this month to discuss their blatant dismissal of his win in their own poll (now, I know polls are stupid, but I believe if Obama had won, it would have been all over the front page of their website)....
The sabotage regarding the debates is the failure of the Democratic Party to stand up for him and demand that he be included as a valid candidate - he has met all the requirements to match funding with the feds, so to me, that should be the indicator of a valid candidate. Clinton, Obama, Edwards and Richardson should have ALL demanded that he be included - instead, they kept silent (although that could be because they colluded to keep he and Gravel out).
At this point, the only way I can see to change the Democratic Party is from the outside - we need to start supporting and voting for third party candidates and show the bastards that they cannot get away with "selecting" our candidates for us.
"the Democratic Party has systematically refused to admit to or promote his popularity. Even with their OWN polls with their OWN members - he wins, and they hide the results."
The Washington State Democrats did an internet straw poll through mid-December, with Kucinich winning by a small margin over 2nd place Edwards. FWIW.
until the WA State Kucinich campaign fought to get them to even announce that he won, and to show the results on a page of their website.
We know that the big Dems will not let Dennis run as a Democrat. We also know that he said he would not support a Democratic candidate who believes in war as an instrument of policy. We also know that he has a lot more support than the big Dems are letting on and they are scared of him. We'll just have to trust that he knows what he is doing and will break at the right time. We certainly cannot trust the election equipment used to count our votes.
so I am a little worried, considering what happened in 2004 - I'm really not interested in supporting him until the end and then listen to him urge me to vote for Clinton or Obama. It seems he has much to prove to his previous supporters, who don't trust that he will do anything differently this time around (I get emails from them ALL the time).
Right now is the time to grab the Independent voters. Nader will probably enter the race and a lot of voters who are fed up with the Democratic Party will run to his camp. That will be a loss of a base of supporters or would-be supporters for Kucinich.
I may not know what he is doing, maybe he has something up his sleeve - I just hope that he won't wait too long......
Whether our fellow citizens realize it or not, we're looking at a man who is a genuine American patriotic Presidential candidate who can galvanize the nation to move forward and fulfill its destiny to be the nation that other nations and people look to for guidance, inspiration and hope.
Unfortunately, Dennis Kucinich is handicapped by ONE thing -- his membership in a political party (the Democrats) which bows the knee and kisses the asses of thr Anglo-Dutch financial oligarchy in exchange for obscene amounts of campaign donations. As long as he's a member of the oligarchically manipulated and owned Democratic Party, any hopes of his potential to become the American patriotic President in the same mold as Franklin D. Roosevelt will amount to nothing.
If he were to leave the Democratic Party, and immediately declare himself to be an independent Presidential candidate than to be targeted for elimination by those oligarchical/fascist forces who are planning on unleashing NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his "national unity government" (which is another fancy euphemism for "facism") on an unsuspecting American population, not only would he counteract a Bloomberg "independent" Presidential campaign, a Kucinich independent Presidential candidacy would force the corporate-corrupted MSM to face their own complicity in committing vote fraud by failing to give attention to his candidacy.
I seriously think that a Kucinich independent candidacy has great potential to change the world for the better, and I'd rather see him run as an independent rather than to see Bloomberg become an independent candidate who has the potential to impose a full-blown fascist-style government on the U.S., complete with a series
of brutal national fiscal austerity programs which would endanger the lives of millions of America's elderly, disabled and youth.
David...Do you have any inside info on this? What are YOUR feelings on him going Green or Independent? At one point I thought he was right on for trying to make changes from the inside, but now....
It just seems to me that the timing couldn't be better to give birth to a STRONG third party or Independent bid. I would think that the media would HAVE to cover this move. ESPECIALLY if he did it the SAME DAY he introduced articles against W. ALSO a Kucinich/McKinney ticket would be an INCREDIBLE vehicle for TRUE Progressives! I REALLY believe the time is ripe given the input from blogs and posts all over the Progressive Web.
he's going to be president, as a Democrat
I guess that I will believe with him. Thanks.
This is not true. The Democrats AND the Republicans are ALL members of the SAME group--The Council on Foreign Relations (www.cfr.org)--EXCEPT Dennis and Ron. It does not matter which you vote for because both of them, if got elected, would make a HUGE difference. This is because neither of them get money OR support from the same special interest groups that the other candidates ascribe to. Contrarily, it does not matter if you vote for the other candidates, either Dem or Rep because they all have CFR's agenda. CFR also has corporate members which include NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, ATT and READER's Digest. Make your vote count and do not give it to war-mongers and globalization zealots and anti-constitutionalists. You make a difference. DK or RP (I am voting RP)
I plan to vote for Kucinich whether he is on the ballot or not. I will write him in if necessary. Democrats do not represent the people, nor do Republicans. Kucinich represents the public on every count. If enough people vote for him, regardless, we won't win this time, but we will build a foundation for the future.
Dennis shot himself in the foot when he dissed Edwards in Iowa, where suggested that his supporters back Obama on second Iowa ballot. If he had backed Edwards, then Edwards could have garnered much more support from Kucinich voters in the long run. In return, Edwards could have supported the inclusion of Kucinich in the Nevada debates. Even so, Edwards could have taken the high ground by going ahead and petitioning that Dennis be included in the debates.
Bad move by Dennis, probably by Edwards, also.
and Edwards has none...
It was my pleasure working on Dennis' New Hampshire campaign when he delivered the above speach. Thank you, Dennis. Now it is the time for all Americans to come to the aid of their country. Contact Congress - your Congressperson as well as others. We must not allow these criminals to leave office without accounting for their actions.
