We got 24/7 on all channels about the disappearance of a young girl...that none of us could do anything about...Now, it is the hurricane... which needed coverage but we never get to any of the issues that effect our lives.

Wow. These stories show how far the corporate power structure has come in its campaign to turn American into a totalitarian state. It may already be too late to save our democracy.

Everyone should read at least some of these stories. Don't depend on the Democratic Party to save us; all this has been accomplished with their general approval. (Sure there are a few heroic Democrats who opposed this, but their impact on this other corporate-funded party is insignificant.)

From now on, unless there's a good reason, I refuse to vote for either of the two corporate parties. My votes will go to the Green Party. Greens will speak the truth about what's happening. Green votes will also send a message to the Democratic Party that if they want citizens' votes, they'd better start representing citizens' interests.
