September 2005 could go down in history as the month in which Iraq policy finally turned around. By all indications, members of Congress returning to Capitol Hill this week will come back having heard, loud and clear, from their constituents that it’s time to end the war in Iraq, victory or no. And it’s not just Democrats.

The cronyism in DC is far too obvious to even the casual observer...it is up to the electorate to break this group up...Democracy for America is working to make the democratic party accountable...and the Republican party needs to do the same. Both parties have abandoned us. Broussard hit it on the head ... no citizen in this country should tolerate the behavior of the parties in DC...time to clean house.

The sooner we forget the meaningless political labels and start thinking in terms issues and policies, the better off we'll all be. It's disheartening to watch Americans vote time after time against their own best interests just because "Candidate X" waves a banner of Red or Blue, as the case may be.
