One Mother's Stand
The president says he feels compassion for me, but the best way to show that compassion is by meeting with me and the other mothers and families who are here. Our sons made the ultimate sacrifice and we want answers. All we're asking is that he sacrifice an hour out of his five-week vacation to talk to us, before the next mother loses her son in Iraq.

It was Pizza night at Camp Casey, Patricia Foulkrod's documentary "The Ground Truth" is playing at Camp Casey II under the big tent. Joan Baez will be performing following the film. After Joan treats the camp for the fifth straight night, the camp will view "Arlington West" a film about the memorial of now over 1800 crosses that Veterans for Peace set up every Sunday in Santa Monica, and other cities on the west coast. The film was put together by Peter Dudar and Sally Marr.
Patricia Fulkrods's film can be found at TheGroundTruth.org she just informed me that she will soon be releaseing a feature version "After the Killing ends.
