The 14 were released after being held for only four hours. $50 fine for unlawful assembly (what's that about freedom to assemble in the First Amendment?) Some were not even given warnings before being arrested, and the "forbidden zone" was not clear as police seemed to randomly select a couple of those arrested.

I was with most of those arrested and it came as a pleasant surprise to all involved that they were sprung within 3 hours. Almost a capitol record. They were held, rather comfortably in a garage. Being so close and listening to the police as I photographed for www.worldcantwait.org , I know the police were seriously understaffed and would have arrested many more and, in fact, closed the whole building if the staff were available. THE POLICE NEVER SAW THIS COMING!!!!!!!! Good job to all...yes...POWER TO THE PEOPLE!! Keep an eye on the fine man who said that...Rev.lennox Yearwood of the Hip Hop Caucus...he has power and we NEED him...Thanks Reverand!!!!!!!!!!!
