If Cheney doesn't leave for South America before April 27, the T-Town chapter of DFA is going to confront him in person when he will be in Tulsa for a fundraising event.

This means our chapter has the honor of kicking off the A28 "Impeach Weekend" in style! Cheney will be at the Downtown Doubletree Hotel at a fundraiser for Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe, one of the "Bushco Rubber Stamp Company".

We have some very capable help coming from OKC bringing about 12 people and several people outside DFA are coming with more signing up every day. If you decide to join us bring a smile and a sign and help us demonstrate that Democracy is important to us!

Results of "Impeach Cheney First Protest"

The April 27 Impeach Cheney First protest was a
wonderful success! Several groups from Tulsa, Oklahoma
City and Stillwater came together to create a ruckus
and everyone had a chance to say their piece as there
were 6 or 8 media outlets on hand. We even drew a
reporter from Tele-Mundo! Contrary to local media
accounts about 95 people showed up with a max of about
75 at any one time.
We chanted, sang, waved signs, staged a die-in and read the names of the Oklahoma soldiers who to this day have died in Iraq. To those that made it, thanks for the great turn out! To those that couldn't, I'm sorry you missed a good time.

Great Job on the protest..this cretin aka.the vice president wanted this war, but when it was he's turn to go to the Nam, he used 5 that's right 5 deferments to get out of doing his service. This is a big time oilman and Iraq has the 2nd largest amount of oil in the Middle East..God Bless the men and women that gave they're lives fighting this war, so many people became richer from this. Where is the OIL REVENUES that were going to pay back the US for "FREEING" THE IRAQ PEOPLE??
