Come to Camp Casey!

From David Swanson:

I'm down here at Camp Casey and it's hot but happening. Word is there'll be even bigger crowds this weekend. Come join us! The pro-war counter-protesters who are here now can be counted on one hand, but they've spread rumors that they're coming in big numbers for the weekend too. We'll see. I'll post reports and photos, and Melvin Phelps is giving me a bunch of videos to post. Jon Schwartz and Marianne and Pris and Ben and Karen and Sue and others will keep the afterdowningstreet.org website updated. Camp Casey is a remarkable place - please join us!

I'll be there in spirit! Thank You all who go to Crawford for keeping the Peace Light Shining Brightly! I pray for the Light to shine brightly on the pro-war protestors, so they can see the TRUTH. It's important to draw them in when possible. Many of them are disillusioned, but are resistant to facing the fact that they were lied to by the Administration. Maybe they will be able to face the TRUTH if they meet it up close.

Peace Love & Blessings to ALL.

Your all idiots. If I punch you are you gonna talk about it; how about if I hit you again, talk about it again and if I do it once more im sure you will hit me. Well, now were over there and our Troops (Whom I support 100%; and you call murderers) arent protecting everyone in America Trying to be a hero. Ever consider they enlisted to protect the ones they love or care about. Cindy Sheehan is WRONG on so many counts. You talk in paradoxes and think everything you say is right. Well, I have news for you; YOUR WRONG. If she really did care she would be supporting our boys and our future. OH, by the way you failed to mention that when Clinton was in office he stated their were WMDs. You have some serious issues to work out.

Before people rant they should do some homework. Ryan you have cloaked yourself in the flag too long. Step out and get a wee bit smarter. And while you are at it post someplace is. Someplace that will agree with you.

Bet you never send the following to even one person.

Verbatim quotes from when Clinton was committing
troops to Bosnia:

"You can support the troops but not the president."
-Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"Well, I just think it's a bad idea. What's going to
happen is they're going to be over there for 10, 15,
maybe 20 years."
-Joe Scarborough (R-FL)

"Explain to the mothers and fathers of American
servicemen that may come home in body bags why their
son or daughter have to give up their life?"
-Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/6/99

"[The] President . . . is once again releasing
American military might on a foreign country with an
ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has
yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will
cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed
forces about how long they will be away from home.
These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy."
-Sen Rick Santorum (R-PA)

"American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery.
Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the
world with a feel-good foreign policy."
-Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"If we are going to commit American troops, we must be
certain they have a clear mission, an achievable goal
and an exit strategy."
-Karen Hughes, speaking on behalf of George W Bush

"I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the
beginning . . . I didn't think we had done enough in
the diplomatic area."
-Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

"I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History
teaches us that it is often easier to make war than
peace. This administration is just learning that
lesson right now. The President began this mission
with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered
questions. A month later, these questions are still
unanswered. There are no clarified rules of
engagement. There is no timetable. There is no
legitimate definition of victory. There is no
contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear
funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our
over-extended military. There is no explanation
defining what vital national interests are at stake.
There was no strategic plan for war when the President
started this thing, and there still is no plan today"
-Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"Victory means exit strategy, and it's important for
the President to explain to us what the exit strategy
is."
-Governor George W Bush (R-TX)

GREAT INFO BETTY! not that any of them are... how you say... HYPOCRITES?!
KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT! I always enjoy your intelligent, informed, and well-reasoned posts!

hey, bonehead- your analogy is a good one, and it certainly explains why there are so many americans dying at the hands of guerillas-except that GEORGE BUSH is the one doing the hitting, then taking VACATIONS and saying things like BRING IT ON , while our TROOPS are the ones getting hit back! and yes, she IS supporting our troops by trying to get them OUT OF HARM'S WAY. (I hope you arent so pathetically stupid as to be trying to imply that IRAQ hit us first... I think you would be hard pressed to back up that feeble claim!)

that explains why we are being attacked by guerillas- they got hit, got hit again, and now they are using everything in their means to hit back. you sound like you support this.... are you "pro-terrorist"? we're trying to get our troops out of harm's way- do you disagree? so far on your post, ryan, you've shown SUPPORT FOR THE TERRORISTS and ATTACKED OUR OWN TROOPS-better look out, ryan. this is a post-patriot act society. people have disappeared for less! supporting our future, by the way, requires restoring our credibility with the rest of the world, among other thngs. and before you try to spout off about terrorism, remember that george's little scheme has TRIPLED global terrorism- once again, if you support george, you're supporting the TERRORISTS! got a brain, ryan? use it.

It's too bad you can't spell, otherwise your comments might have had a modicum of relevance.

You're (the correct spelling) so brain-washed you don't know which way is up. But you will, after our economy collapses from Mr. Bush's economic policies which are sinking our economy into unrecoverable debt from this ridiculous invasion of Iraq.

We don't even have to consider the immoral aspects of Mr. Bush's conduct in all areas of his life to see what a piece of "almost human" excrement he is.

You should seek therapy.

If you don't, when the truth smacks you in the face, you're (there's that correct spelling again) going to probably commit suicide from the shame and stupidity you will feel from your (now that's the right usage) ignorance and self hate which you project on those who can still perceive truth and FACTS.

Who was the one that said that the troops are murderers? Supporting our troops doesn't have to mean supporting the Comander in Chief. You support having our soldiers out there without proper body armor. The white house was in such a rush to get our troops out there that they didn't provide them with the protection they needed. All you talk about is that you support the troops, yet you make no mention of their safety. You make many allegations without anything to support your arguments. You attack the character of one person in an issue that goes beyond partisan politics. Where are your arguments on why we are still in Iraq?
