Sacramento Welcomes Move America Backward Rental Van

Here are some photos of the Move America Backward brigade stopping in Sacramento at the KFBK radio studios on 8/22 en route to Crawford, TX. They numbered about 40, and we also had about 40 to counter them. The caravan is supposed to arrive in Crawford on 8/27 after picking up "thousands" of Cindy stiflers on the way.

The one that says, "Death is not support." I honestly don't know what message that person is trying to get across. It almost sounds like something someone AGAINST the war would hold.

These people confuse me. I wonder if they even understand what they are protesting. Doesn't look like they fully get it, if you ask me.

Would they please have a sign that explains the cause they are defending? Cindy doesn't speak for me doesn't explain anything.
Are they anti gold star mothers? Anti peace? Pro what? We don't understand their message. It is the same problem with Bush...what is he trying to accomplish?

That's what they mean when they say Cindy doesn't speak for them>>>
she is anti-PNAC

Helen-
According to the article I read that was a Sheehan supporter... you'll note that the banner to his right reads "Veterans for Peace". ;)

I've read quite a few articles on this, and the only one that mentioned that this counter-protest was organized by MAF was the Boston Globe below.

Get on the horn and make sure to remind the media that the right-wing group MAF is responsible for putting this together as a *reaction* to Cindy. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, I figure.

... ehh and that should read "banner to his *left*."

... heh and that should read "the banner to his *left*".
