DIE-IN IN SAN FRANCISCO
California
San Francisco
On March 19, 2003, U.S. forces invaded Iraq. 650,000 Iraqis have been killed because of this invasion. This is 2.5% of Iraq's population; 2.5% of the U.S. population is 7,000,000, roughly the population of the SF Bay Area. What would it look like if all of us were killed? Do these three things on March 19, 2007 if you oppose these senseless killings:
* Wear all black or wear a black armband
* Put a Bring the Troops Home Now sign in the window of your home or car
* 12:00 noon come to the DIE-IN on Market Street to show what it would look like if downtown San Francisco was filled with dead bodies.
San Francisco assembly points:
Sign-up on-line to let us know where you'd like to join the March 19th die-in. The assembly points are:
* Federal Reserve (Spear & Market)
* McKesson Plaza (Montgomery & Market)
* Westfield Center (Powell & Market)
* UN Plaza (7th & Market)
