It was an astonishing turnout. Last night, in my small middle-American city, more than 150 people stood on street corners supporting Cindy Sheehan, the grieving mom who is waiting outside the president's ranch to ask him, "Why did you kill my son?" Of course, demonstrations like this don’t have much effect unless they are reported in the mainstream media. Cindy Sheehan is making the media pay attention.

simple, loud, and clear: BRING THEM HOME NOW, or we'll send YOU home! These elites can be picked off. The ex-minority leader of the Senate (let's see now, what was his name?) found that out last election.

As long as voters continue to vote billionaires, millionaires and professional politicians into office, this war (and the same sort of mentality which led to it) will continue. No one in the peace movement has ever said that if America pulls out there will be a blood bath. It is the politicians (and those who support them or who are duped by them) who are saying that. That's how stupid they think you are! The Democrats in both Houses voted for this war too. Their financial backing comes from the same Wall Street from which the Republicans receive theirs. And they also have a vested interest in the war's "success". Continue to vote for them and history will continue as it has been.... With all do respect, I'd like to make a small amendment to the above simple, loud, and clear clarion call: We'll send you home and Bring Them Home!
