Jan 18 Glendale Peace Vigil "We will not be silent."

Thursday January 18 the Glendale Peace Vigil will hold a special vigil at Broadway and Brand 5-6 p.m in support of the Granny Peace Brigade's national call to lobby Congress to end the occupation of Iraq.

EVERYONE is welcome.

We'll have some extra signs, and we'll be gathering signatures on postcards to Senator Feinstein to end the war now. At 6 p.m., we plan to go to dinner at a nearby restaurant.

The Granny Peace Brigade, which holds a weekly peace vigil in New York City, has put out a call to all grannies throughout the United States to go to Washington to see members of the House and Senate on January 18 with the demand to stop the war in Iraq now and end the occupation.

The slogan of the Granny Peace Brigade is "We will not be silent."
