Cindy Sheehan is hoping that a less confrontational strategy will be more effective. Will President Bush, as a man of faith, join her and others on Friday at noon to pray for the troops? The president is reported to have nothing on his official schedule for this week.

A candlelight prayer vigil is planned for Wednesday night. Cindy asks that mothers around the nation join together on Wednesday night in solidarity to pray for our troops.

Here is the latest video of Cindy speaking about the prayer vigil on MCNBC's Countdown. (Windows Media format).

CrooksandLiars has an earlier MSNBC report from this morning.

Hmmmm. So what if he does join in prayers for the troops? What does that achieve? I thought the whole point was to confront the mendacious SOB with the lies the put them in jeopardy in the first place.

Yes, I agree, Let him have a taste of his own medicine.
We want "the whole enchalada"....just like he and his gang want in Iraq and the Middle East. We don't just want him to attend a little church service as an empty symbolic gesture, but to face up and be accountable for ALL the lies of this administration. They have gotten too numerable to list easily.
To arrive at the truth, it may be ......
"a long, hard slog"...remember that quote?
