I was listening to the talking heads on two different news channels speculating on the motives behind your decision to demand Mr. Bush's attention. I found in sad, ironic, frustrating and plain old annoying that anyone would be attempting to define, minimize or otherwise skew your stated motives for protesting our actions and our policies. To describe you as left or right wing, hawk or dove is a desperate attempt to try and politicize your loss, a loss many of us with loved ones serving in Iraq may yet have to face. To me you are courageous. It might be easier to wrap your sorrow and anger in the more traditional grieving mother role. But this is your son we are talking about, not some abstract position on war and peace, but a view carved from the most painfuland personal experience with the reality of war. I also have a son serving in Iraq. I cannot imagine your anquish and as a fellow American I am proud of your willingness to speak what so many of us are feeling and lack the courage to say. Support the troops, absolutely. How to best support them? BRING THEM HOME, NOW!
This is two signs/shirt designs/posters meant to be printed on 11x17 paper (landscape orientation).
