Amherst Is Latest City to Pass a Resolution for Impeachment
On November 1, 2006, the Amherst (MA) Town Meeting passed a resolution "that our senators and representatives in the United States Congress be, and they are hereby, requested to cause to be instituted in the Congress of the United States proper proceedings for the investigation of the activities of [...] George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney, to the end that they may both be impeached and removed from such office...."
The resolution itself is Article 2 in this PDF. The version as passed has 'of' inserted between 'surveillance' and
'U.S. citizens' in the first numbered paragraph.
