Met with the potential swing vote on City Council~~

Thought I should do a little update to tell people about the huge thing that happened the other week, when the City Council member we have been focusing on for the third vote for an Impeachment Resolution endorsed and will take the lead on a Resolution to Bring the Troops Home. Veterans for Peace arranged a meeting with Leonard's top aide and asked me to attend. It went very well, and I felt that they were receptive to the argument that bringing the troops home is a huge goal, but that we should also address why they were sent to fight a "war" based on lies, and why they will come home only to endlessly fight red tape to get their disability and other veterans' benefits.
