You are herecontent / More Right Wing Attacks

Read 'em and sympathize. It has to hurt to have no other argument for your war than the ability to call opponents of it "extremists."
I am so proud of you for standing up to the President. I agree that he owes you an explanation of why he lied to you and everyone about the Iraq War. I have been on line sending e mails to the major networks trying to get them to cover your story. I can't believe the right wing Fox News is trying to discredit you. I just read that you are in a local commercial in Crawford asking the President directly to meet with you. I think if Americans would come together and donate funds to run the commercial nationally that would assist in getting your message across to the president, his administration and millions of Americans. Keep up the good fight. sincerely, Doug Haynes
Bush cares so much about leaving a great legacy - make signs that mention his "legacy" - this will eat at his very soul.
like: your legacy? the downfall of 200 yrs of greatness, etc. etc.
I went to the FrontPage magazine site and asked Ben Johnson, the author of that ridiculous article, to please add my name to his list of "antiwar extremists." I told him that I'm an ex-military spouse, daughter of a soldier, granddaughter of a Navy man, cousin of a Vietnam Vet, and honored to have the same title that he so graciously bestowed on Cindy Sheehan.
I think we all should do this on every right wingnut site out there.
CINDY -- YOU ROCK!!!!!
So you were never in the military but think some honor is due you because other's served? You are a Daft Damn Fool.
Casey Sheehan supported the war on terror. HE wanted to fight for America and her Freedom.
Casey's father got smart and left the insane Cindy. Everyone in Casey's family is against her.
In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford Texas issue: Sheehan Family Statement:
The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.
Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
i still fail to see how the rest of the sheehan's family's grieving process has any impact at all on Cindy's grieving process. She can do what she likes. it's definately not wrong.
the letter is just ridiculous.
I read almost the whole tirad from the FrontPage site and was going to respond but they are such cowards that they won't accept comments unless you register on their site. I know they are afraid (and well they should be) that those of us who know better will point out their lies and distortions.
I am doubly thankful to Cindy for her courage in standing up to these liars. They distort the truth and say that it is "patriotic" to support a liar who has brought untold death and destruction upon the people of Iraq. It is not Cindy's fault that the neo-cons have an agenda that does not benefit the United States. She is only pointing out the facts.
It really does not matter if that coward George Bush and his shills lie. What do we expect of them?
All hail to Cindy for her wonderful work. Let us not be "good Germans" and call war crimes patriotic.
Register using a different name and create an email address in Yahoo or Hotmail that you can use specifically for registering on right wing blogs. I used my real name when I registered because I figure I'm already on someone's hit list!!!
You didn't register at FrontPage because YOU are the coward, not them. LOL get a clue before posting
Well, I read about 50 comments and they are very good at labels and surface talk. Not much point to any of it other than maybe making them feel macho. Not much depth of thought or discussion, and not much feeling of compassion. Not much original thought, just the same old "stuff" probably heard on Fox and from Rush. It does sadden me that this administration thrives on keeping this country split all for the sake of votes.
I dare to say that most of those folks ranting about Cindy ...if met face to face would not say what they write ...
I read the article that was critical of Cindy Sheehan. In it the author uses an argument (and this seems to be one used a lot) that he enlisted and reenlisted. Does that make it any less an illegal war? Does that make is death acceptable? I don't get it. This mentality is off the wall. When did it become ok to smear someone grieving over the loss of a son? There comes a point where the evidence is so clearly defined that to argue aganist it to argue against the health of the nation. This war is wrong. This war is unwinnable. And to slam a grieving mother to protect a president that began this illegal war is disgraceful.
I couldn't agree more that that crap about enlisting and re-enlisting mentioned above is exactly just that, CRAP! and this is what Kerry should have said directly to America in his campaign: that the fact of the matter is, while some people put their lives on the line for our country NO MATTER how or to what degree, that they were out there fighting for this country while certain cowboys were snorting coke in bathrooms.
Great post to have on a thread that says RWers call names. LOL YOU and your Ilk call the names. You have no facts.
Poor Cindy, it seems Casey's entire family is against her. They know she is lying and bastardizing the memory of Casey Sheehan.
Yep. This stuff is having it's effect (on your blood pressure). People of good will, you can't defend yourself against character assassination by goons. Let them spin. All you can do is what you know is right. You Christians out there can take comfort. "Not everyone who says, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven." And Lucifer and all his demons believe in Christ too, but it won't save them from the pit.
We've given them enough rope. We have enough history here for a solid baseline. It's time for well-meaning people everywhere to examine the evidence and make up their minds.
As for me, mine is made up. I want my civil liberties back, and I'll take my chances. Censorship and secrecy is what holds together a tyranny. "When any government or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, 'This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,' the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives." (R.A. Heinlein) But for those whose minds are free of the deception and lies, you can kill them, but you can't conquer them. And more than half of us are free.
