The Important Event of Our Time
I am not a scholar, I have not achieved certain degrees of trade or have millions of dollars at my diposal. I am neither Republican nor Democrat, ( I believe that certain individuals in both parties are susceptible to the illusion of monetary power.) and up to this point in time, have not been "into politics."
My mother being in Iraq, I wanted to understand why she was risking her life every day. I wanted to really believe that we were there for a just cause. I wanted to believe what she believed. As I conducted my research into this war, I stumbled upon striking similarities between this one and others through out the past fifty or so years. We made a profit.
The person in office made a profit off of going to war. This is the first RED FLAG in my journey as a dumbed-down-un-aware-Fox News-believing-American on his way to the new birth. Truth has since clensed my soul, now I am pissed. I have signed up for Capm at Camp Democracy, have read countless stories about the military industrial complex, our cycle of carnage, the profits margins involved, and am now, really pissed.
I have organized a group that's goal is the liberation of the truth to all those like me; that had no clue. The group's name is called Delaware Against Illegal Wars, and it's aim is education, and of course to push for the impeachment of ANY President who deems it his turn to put us in illegal conflict.
Frankly saying, the fact that George Bush can get away with what he is getting away with, is our fault. It is our responsibility as the embodiment of this Nation, to defeat "any and all enemies, foreign and domestic." Right now, a man who sends our own to war to murder others and to then die, to line his own pockets and those of his buddies is in my eyes, a domestic enemy. It is our duty to stop him. This is one of the most important times in our history. If we don't make an example out of George W. then all those who take his place will know that they can commit the same crimes without consequence as they have been, since they learned they could in Nam. We must, MUST, impeach George W. Bush.
