Judy Miller: How Deep Do Her Connections Run?

The Huffington Post
By Arianna Huffington

The more I'm reading about Judy Miller and her actions leading up to and during the early days of the war, and then through the unfolding Plame-Rove-Libby-Gonzalez-Card scandal, the more I’m struck by the special access and relationships she enjoyed with many of the key players in the Iraq debacle (which, at the end of the day, is really what Plamegate is all about).

For starters, of course, we have her still unfolding involvement in the Plame leak. Earlier this month, Howard Kurtz reported that Miller and Libby spoke a few days before Novak outed Plame -- and I’m hearing that the Libby/Miller conversation occurred over breakfast in Washington. Did Valerie Plame come up -- and, if so, who brought her up? There is no question that Miller was angry at Joe Wilson… and continues to be. A social acquaintance of Miller told me that, once, when she spoke of Wilson, it was with “a passionate and heated disgust that went beyond the political and included an irrelevant bit of deeply personal innuendo about him, her mouth twisting in hatred.

Is there nothing about this administration that is sacred? Send troops into battle and have a reporter bark out orders. Imagine what history professors are going to be saying about this administration 50 years from now. Every day I read something and my mouth just hangs open.
It think Judith Miller best start talking because I think she's got a lot of explaining to do.

What are the history writers going to print about Judith Miller? Knock me over with a feather, I've just never heard of anything like her behavior before>>> Is there anybody in history to compare her with?... HOLY COW, maybe she's unique enough to belong in a Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum !

With out uncertainty, Judy Miller stands for something. Let it be known to all who fight the kind of fight she was willing to take on and twist for our President. Now she is in jail. Is that all the thanks she gets for standing by the lies generated by Bush and his team of murderers? I hope so.

Think of her as a poster child for what is coming for the Bush administration: jail or worse -- with a little work it might catch on. Not only should her act be treated as a crime, but we should also expect this resulting end for all of those who are a accessory to the offense that ended in the killing of innocent men, women and children, not to mention our own soldiers. I could expect worse for Judy Miller because she tried to "play on the American people's intelligence" by positioning her self as fighting for some noble cause, a misdirection that might backfire beyond my revelation.

...and what to think of her connections with this:
