Video: Vigil, Prayers, in Baltimore, for Troy Davis
On September 21, 2011, a Vigil was held from 5 to 7PM, in Baltimore, MD, for Troy Davis. The demonstration took place at the corner of Pratt & Sharp Streets, next to the Federal Court House. Mr. Davis is on Death Row in a state of Georgia prison. His execution was set for 7 PM tonight. Note: The US Supreme Court, however, issued a "temporary" order staying the execution of Troy Davis, so that it could further review the matter. To learn more, go to: USAAmenstyUSATroyDavis.

I called the White House and asked that our "black" president grant a pardon to Mr. Davis. Unfortunately, I guess he is so busy looking forward that he cannot look back to see if justice was served in this case. Perhaps the Supreme Court will get their minds around the idea that you do not kill someone for a crime unless you are absolutely certain that he did it. How much sense does that make?
Let us HOPE that Mr. Davis will get a fair day in court and that the real murderer will be found. My heart goes out to all the families who have lost a loved one due to this crime.
