VIDEO: Veterans for Peace Take Demand to White House Fence

By davidswanson - Posted on 16 December 2010

I think they're the ones in greatest need of seeing American war veterans publicly demonstrating against the war on Iraq and calling for peace. It's also good for the rest of us, for it's good for everyone to be reminded that there are war veterans who truly recognize the evils of war and who will demonstrate this in public. But, if half of the troops stopped serving the war makers and really opposed this "service", then the war would have to be stopped; and this would also happen if a quarter of the troops did this, I think. As long as they continue to accept to follow these orders, it's going to be very difficult to make Washington stop its war-making.
