Just like all these Congressmen and Senators. We can't get our hands dirty, send your children to die. Unbelieveable, I'll bet if they called his number he'd change his tune very quickly indeed. A truly brave person has researched this WAR and knows it's based on a lie!

Thanks for speaking out for Bradley Manning! Whistle-blowing on war crimes deserves a medal, not imprisonment. Each soldier swore to honor & "defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic". Standing up for the laws of the land, which includes all treaties against torture and war crimes. Manning has acted in a way that opposes those who continue to bring shame to our country. A patriot should not obey illegal orders or participate in the cover-up of crimes. In lieu of being there, here's a new music video, "Courage To Resist", a tribute to GI Resistance in 2011. The song was inspired especially by Private Bradley Manning and wikileaks. Re: the subject line above... Once read a quote by Gore Vidal saying as much; however, I 'googled' the net but couldn't find it posted. But I did find his essay "America the Great ... Police State" posted on Jul 28, 2009 at TruthDig.

"..we find ourselves marooned as well as guarded (is that the verb?) by armed police who have been instructed that they are indeed, once armed, the law and may not be criticized verbally or in any other way and are certainly not subject to any restrictions as to whom they arrest or otherwise torment."

BTW, ever notice the Fasci bracketing the flag in Congress??? Have been hidden in plain sight there for decades.
