Video: An 11th-Hour Protest Action, in Baltimore, to Stop the Execution of Troy Davis

By BillyClub - Posted on 20 September 2011

An 11th-hour protest demonstration to stop the execution of Troy Davis was held in Baltimore, MD, on Tuesday evening, September 20, 2011, at 4806 York Road. Mr. Davis is on Death Row in the state of Georgia. Its Board of Pardons and Paroles denied his bid for clemency on September 19th. Mr. Davis is scheduled for execution on September 21st, at 7 PM. The former head of the FBI, William S. Sessions, who is also an ex-Federal Court Judge, strongly advocates a stay of execution. Activist Max Obuszewski, a death penalty opponent, spoke to me about this controversial matter.
