Anti-war and peace groups across the country, from London to
Liverpool, from Edinburgh to Bridport, from Bath to Hastings, are
organising events over the Remembrance Day weekend, 11-13
November, seeking to break the link between Remembrance Day and
the culture of militarisation that glorifies war and uses the
past dead to justify current wars.

There are vigils, naming the dead events, white poppy wreath
ceremonies, distribution of white poppies (available from the
Stop the War Coalition office: Tel: 020 7801 2768)
